Kevin Ogaro Okinda’s Journey of Gratitude and Growth
Name: Kevin Ogaro Okinda Location: Bifida County, Kenya University: South Eastern Kenya University Course: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Graduated: Class of 2015 Current Role: ICT Officer, National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), Muhaya Constituency & Tree Seedling Farmer
“Without the support I received, I might not have made it through school. Today, I am proof that a helping hand can transform a life.”
Kevin Ogaro Okinda’s academic journey began with both brilliance and uncertainty. In 2010, after scoring 352 marks in his KCPE, he joined Lorna Waddington High School. But financial hardship made it difficult to stay in school—until Double Infinity Foundation stepped in.
From Form 1 to Form 4, Kevin received comprehensive support: school fees, uniforms, stationery, and moral encouragement. The result? A successful high school career, finishing with a B+ grade.
But his journey didn’t end there.
He gained admission to South Eastern Kenya University, where he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology—again, with consistent backing from the foundation throughout his university life, including upkeep and academic resources.
“I graduated in 2015 with Second Class Honours, Upper Division. Without the Foundation’s support, that would have remained a dream.”

Today, Kevin serves his community both in tech and in sustainability. He’s an ICT Officer with NG-CDF and a tree seedling farmer, giving back to his environment and economy.
Even more inspiring? Kevin actively mentors other students who are currently supported by the Foundation—many from rural and underserved communities.
“Support changes everything. Without it, many students give up or lose hope. I’ve lived that reality, and now I work to uplift others.”
Kevin’s message is clear: the work of Double Infinity Foundation is not just funding—it’s empowerment.
“Thank you, Double Infinity, for walking with me and so many others. You are not just changing lives—you are building futures.”
